Jan Schröder (M. Sc.)

Jan Schröder has been a Researcher/Developer at the Institute of Biomedical Informatics since July 2026.

He holds an M.Sc. in Physics, with a focus on machine learning and computational modeling of complex systems. His experience includes developing data processing pipelines, applying deep learning methods, and analyzing complex research datasets.

His research interests center on data-driven approaches for identifying and understanding patterns in biomedical and healthcare systems. He is particularly interested in improving the interpretability and explainability of models, especially in the context of translational research.

At the Institute of Biomedical Informatics, he works on projects at the intersection of data science, artificial intelligence, and healthcare research.
