FAIRdata Cologne is a Dataverse-based metadata catalogue that supports the structured documentation and discovery of experimental research activities. It enables research teams, including Collaborative Research Centres (CRCs), to describe experiments in a consistent and meaningful way while retaining control over access and visibility. By improving the findability and clarity of experimental metadata, the platform supports collaboration across labs and projects, and, where appropriate, allows selected records to be shared more openly to showcase research expertise and facilitate new collaborations, all in alignment with FAIR principles.
