Description

The INF project develops a sustainable data management and information infrastructure for CRC 1218. It establishes FAIR data standards, harmonized metadata and ontologies, and shared guidelines to ensure research data remain findable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable beyond the funding period. The project supports researchers through training in research data management, standardized metadata templates, and technical solutions for secure data sharing. High-dimensional omics and imaging data are integrated into centralized platforms and interactive web applications, enabling easy exploration and analysis without specialist expertise. Publicly shareable metadata are made visible via our metadata catalogue FAIRdata Cologne, ensuring long-term accessibility and transparent data access managed by us and through the native infrastructure provided by the IT Center University of Cologne.
